Privacy Policy
The short version: the only personal information we ask for is what you type into our contact form, and we use it to reply to you. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your information.
1. Who we are
This website, nahl-group.com, is operated by Nahl Group Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Nahl Group", "we", "us" or "our"). We are a software agency that builds custom software, integrations and automation, mainly for trucking and logistics companies.
This policy explains what information we collect through this website and what we do with it. It does not cover information we process on behalf of clients under a services agreement; that is governed by the agreement itself.
Our products
Nahl Group Inc. also operates the following software-as-a-service products. Each one has its own privacy policy, which explains in detail what that product collects (including any Instagram data), why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted:
- Javobchi.ai: javobchi.ai/privacy and data deletion instructions
- Sotuvchi.ai: sotuvchi.ai/privacy and data deletion instructions
For those products, Nahl Group Inc. is the company responsible for your information, and the product's own policy applies instead of this one.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address (required);
- your company name and phone number (optional); and
- the message you write.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email. Please do not send us sensitive information, such as financial account details or government ID numbers, through the form or by email.
Information collected automatically
- IP address with your submission. We store the IP address a contact-form message was sent from, to help us detect spam and abuse.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record basic request details: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time.
- Rate limiting. To protect the contact form and admin login from abuse, we briefly count requests per IP address in memory. These counts are not stored.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or social media tracking on this website.
3. How we use it
We use the information described above to:
- read and respond to your enquiry, and discuss or prepare a proposal for our services;
- manage any business relationship that follows from your enquiry;
- detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and keep the website secure and working; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or add you to a marketing list.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for this processing are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running our business and keeping the website secure; and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Cookies
We do not set any cookies for visitors to the public website.
The only cookie this website uses is a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps our own staff signed in to the site's admin area. It is set only after a staff member logs in, expires after seven days, and is never set for ordinary visitors.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to run this website and respond to you:
- Hosting provider. Our website and database run on servers operated by a hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
- Email provider. When a contact-form message arrives, a copy may be delivered to our inbox through our email service provider.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or where necessary to protect our rights, our users or others.
- Business transfers. If Nahl Group Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Our website links to third-party sites such as Instagram. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
6. How long we keep it
- Contact-form messages are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any business relationship that follows, and are then deleted.
- Server logs are deleted automatically on a rolling basis, generally within 14 days.
You can ask us to delete your message at any time (see Your rights).
7. Security
All traffic to this website is encrypted with HTTPS. Contact-form messages are stored in a database that only authorized Nahl Group staff can access through a password-protected admin area, and we limit the rate at which the form and login can be used. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
Our servers are located in the Netherlands, and our team may access information from the other countries where we work. Where the law requires it, we take appropriate steps to protect information transferred outside the country where it was collected.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it; and
- receive it in a portable format.
To make a request, email us at info@nahl-group.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws: we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. Because we do not track visitors, browser signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track do not change how this website behaves.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
